Imagine hiking in scenic mountains to observe wildlife in its natural habitat. Volunteers for the Sageland Collaborative in Salt Lake City do that regularly to collect data from their 300 wildlife camera monitoring stations. The Terracon Foundation has awarded a grant to the Sageland Collaborative in support of their Wasatch Wildlife Watch, which helps maintain a balance between the needs of future development and critical wildlife habitat conservation. Work Zones are temporary. Actions behind the wheel can last forever. This week is dedicated to raising awareness about work zone safety before construction projects pick up during the warmer months. Let’s all choose to take care of each other by slowing down and staying focused while approaching and passing through a roadway work zone. https://www.nwzaw.org/
